Symbolic adoptions are a great way to support our programs and our beneficiaries. By "adopting" a species you are contributing towards the conservation and ultimate survival of that species as your contribution goes directly to the organisations fighting for them on the ground.

To ensure that there is a symbolic adoption package to suit your pocket, there are 4 adoption packages available for you to chose from; Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze! You also have the choice to decide if you want your contribution to be once off or a monthly re-occurring donation.

African Wild Cat

Help support the sterilisation of feral domestic cats on the boarders of the Greater Kruger National Park, that are threatening the African Wild Cat's true genetic form through cross breeding and hybridisation. The Trap, Sterilize and Release program, will decrease domestic feral cat numbers, reducing the risk of cross breeding and protecting ultimate survival of the true African Wild Cat.

Pangolin

By adopting a pangolin you are assisting Scales in supporting the ‘first aid’ and rehabilitation of Temminck’s Ground Pangolin’s that are seized and rescued from poachers allowing them to be successfully released back into the wild. An average of 288 Pangolins are snatched from the wild across the world every day!

Black Rhino

Adopting a rhino helps Scales in supporting anti-poaching efforts to save this iconic species from extinction, providing funding for aerial support and animal protection over vulnerable conservation areas. Rhinos are currently being poached at a rate of 3 a day and unless this rate can be reduced this species will be extinct within the next 10 years.

Free-tailed Bat

Every day hundreds of bats are killed or injured by people when evicting them from roof tops or destroying their natural roosts because of superstitions, when it can be done humanely. Free-tailed bat adoptions help Scales in supporting the rescue and rehabilitation of bats as well as educating the public about their environmental and economic value and how to conduct humane evictions.

White Rhino

Adopting a rhino helps Scales in supporting anti-poaching efforts to save this iconic species from extinction, providing funding for aerial support and animal protection over vulnerable conservation areas. Rhinos are currently being poached at a rate of 3 a day and unless this rate can be reduced this species will be extinct within the next 10 years.
