African Wildlife & Equestrian Experience

The African Wildlife & Equestrian Experience situated in the Lowveld of the Limpopo Province of South Africa, is a totally unique opportunity that differs greatly from other horse safari programs that you will find in South Africa. Volunteers will learn about working with and riding horses, as well as spend time in the African bush acquiring knowledge of the native wildlife. You will get to experience the beauty of South Africa and riding in a relaxed and fun filled environment which is suitable for both experienced riders and novices alike. Even if you have never ridden a horse before but want to learn, this is the place for you.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

This project is designed for persons 18 to 35, who have an equestrian interest as well as wildlife or just a sense of adventure. Volunteers need to be in good health with a moderate level of fitness. It is a great opportunity for those wishing to explore the wonders of the African Bush, and gain equestrian knowledge and experience. Personal qualities such as flexibility and adaptability are a must, as “African Time” and or unforeseen circumstances can lead to program changes at short notice.
